First time in history two World Championships will be combined

From the 3 – 16 June 2019, the city of ‘s- Hertogenbosch (The Netherlands) will be the archery centre of the world. For the first time in history the World Archery Championships and the World Archery Para Championships will be combined, to offer an optimum sports experience. The para-athletes will start this archery feast that lasts two weeks from 3 – 9 June and from 10 – 16 June the World Archery Championships take place. All finals will be held in the beautiful arena at the Parade in the middle of the historic city centre.

During these combined World Championships two separate venues will be used: the Parade and the rugby fields of The Dukes. All finals will take place in the arena at the Parade. The venue The Parade is a historic square surrounded by high trees, situated at the foot of the nearly seven hundred-year-old Saint John’s Cathedral in the attractive centre of ’s-Hertogenbosch.
